Summer Animal Interpretive Talks

Daily Talks

10:00 to 11:00 am – Monkey Business at the primate house

11:30 to 12:00 pm – Pelican Feeding at the musk ox pond

1:30 to 2:00 pm – Critter Corner at the Tropical House

2:30 to 3:30 pm – The Grizzly Details at the bear range

4:00 to 5:00pm – Monkey Business at the primate house

Daily Interpretive Stations

10:00 to 11:00 am – Primate Table across from the Café

2:30 to 3:30 pm – Eurasian Animal Table at the tigers

4:00 to 5:00 pm – Birds of Prey Table at the Steller’s sea eagles

All interpretive talks and stations run 7 days a week depending on weather conditions. Schedule subject to change without notice. Brought to you by the Zoo Education Centre.

1-hour Guided Shuttle Tours of the Zoo

Available 7 days a week until August 29

Tour Times

12:00 to 1:00 pm, 1:30 to 2:30 pm, 3:00 to 4:00 pm and 4:30 to 5:30 pm

$5.00 per person (children under two on lap free)

Guided tours lead by Zoo Education Staff

Tours start and end at the main (east) gate

Richard Shier Limited Edition

Fundraising Print

A beautiful mosaic of the wonderful Assiniboine Park and Zoo can be yours. The prints are signed, matted and ready for framing.

$100 per limited edition print with a $70 tax receipt. Quantities are limited so don’t be disappointed!

To All Zoological Society Members

Please note that as of October 1st, 2008 we will no longer be mailing out your permanent membership cards. They can be picked up at the Zoo Gift Shop with proof of ID between 10:00am and close daily.

Your complimentary Safeway Boo at the Zoo member tickets will also be available for pick up at the Zoo Gift Shop starting September 15th, 2008.
